Why build this?

This idea started back in 2019 with a simple question: In a world with platforms like Bloomberg and TradingView to monitor the trades of stock market investors, what is the equivalent for real estate?

For too long, tracking the real estate market—especially what professional investors are buying—has been a difficult and manual process. It meant spending hours sifting through complex government websites like ACRIS or paying for expensive data services that were often clunky and hard to use. There was no clean, public, and immediate way to see the flow of capital in the NYC property market.

This platform is my attempt to solve this problem. It's designed to be a clean and public window into the transactions that shape our city, allowing anyone to track the market with the same clarity as a financial analyst.
